千葉 真由美 Mayumi Chiba
チェンバロ奏者。
古楽を軸に、ソロ・オーケストラ・室内楽・プロデュース公演まで幅広く活動。
関西フィルハーモニー管弦楽団、神戸市室内管弦楽団をはじめ、日韓合同オーケストラ「輝音管弦楽団」、アンサンブル・フロット、芦屋シンフォニックアンサンブル、元テレマン・アンサンブルのトップ奏者による弦楽四重奏団など、各地のオーケストラおよびアンサンブルと共演。
J.S.バッハ《ブランデンブルク協奏曲》《チェンバロ協奏曲》、モーツァルト《ピアノ協奏曲》《3つのチェンバロ協奏曲》、ヘンデル《メサイア》など、バロックから古典派にわたる主要作品を演奏してきた。
オーギュスタン・デュメイ、アレクセイ・オグリンチュク、ラファエル・クリストをはじめ、神尾真由子、千住真理子、NDR北ドイツ放送フィルハーモニー管弦楽団やWDRケルン放送管弦楽団の各メンバーなど国内外の演奏家とオーケストラ、室内楽公演にて共演。また、武久源造との2台鍵盤による演奏会、釋伸司とのJ.S.バッハ《ヴァイオリンとチェンバロのためのソナタ》全曲演奏会など、数多くの公演経験を重ねている。
ソロ公演では、千葉真由美チェンバロリサイタルを継続的に開催し、J.S.バッハ《フランス組曲》《イギリス組曲》全曲演奏（全2回）をはじめ、バッハ、スカルラッティ、ラモーなどの作品を中心に演奏。チェンバロの多彩な表現可能性を追求している。さらに、豪華客船による日本一周クルーズにアーティストとして乗船し船内公演を行うなど、コンサートホールにとどまらない場においても演奏を行っている。
音源制作では、ソロアルバム『千葉真由美 チェンバロの世界』をリリースするほか、通奏低音奏者としてオーケストラ作品のレコーディングに参加。
メディア出演としては、BSテレビ東京にて放送されたヴィヴァルディ《四季》全曲（指揮：藤岡幸夫／独奏：神尾真由子）に出演。また、コスモス国際賞授賞式典において、千住真理子とコスモスアンサンブルとの演奏を披露。
加えて、自身のプロデュースによるコンサートシリーズ「Leaf Hall Concert」を主宰し、ウィーン・ロイヤル・オーケストラのコンサートマスター、ミヒャル・フダークをはじめ、国内外の演奏家を迎えた公演を多数企画してきた。
古楽に軸足を置きながらも、ギター、クロマチック・ハーモニカ、二胡、尺八など民族楽器とのコラボレーションにも取り組み、ジャンルを越えた音楽表現を模索している。
ピアノを石井永子に、チェンバロおよび通奏低音を武久源造、三和睦子、河野まり子、青木好美の各氏に師事。古楽器演奏家集団コンセール・アベイユ、セレーノミュージックに所属。音楽教育学修士。
Mayumi Chiba
Harpsichordist
With a focus on early music, she is active in a wide range of fields including solo performance, orchestral and chamber music, and self-produced concert projects.
She has appeared with numerous orchestras and ensembles, including the Kansai Philharmonic Orchestra, Kobe City Chamber Orchestra, the Japan–Korea joint orchestra Kion Orchestra, Ensemble Flott, Ashiya Symphonic Ensemble, and a string quartet formed by leading former members of the Telemann Ensemble.
Her repertoire spans major works from the Baroque to the Classical period, including J.S. Bach’s Brandenburg Concertos and Harpsichord Concertos, Mozart’s Piano Concertos and Three Harpsichord Concertos, and Handel’s Messiah.
She has collaborated in orchestral and chamber music performances with distinguished musicians such as Augustin Dumay, Alexei Ogrintchouk, and Raphael Christ, as well as Mayuko Kamio and Mariko Senju, and members of the NDR Elbphilharmonie Orchestra and the WDR Symphony Orchestra Cologne.
Her concert activities also include two-keyboard performances with Genzoh Takehisa and a complete cycle of J.S. Bach’s Sonatas for Violin and Harpsichord with violinist Shinji Shaku, among many other projects.
As a soloist, she regularly presents the Mayumi Chiba Harpsichord Recital series. Her programs include complete performances of J.S. Bach’s French Suites and English Suites (presented over two recitals), as well as works by Bach, Domenico Scarlatti, and Jean-Philippe Rameau, through which she explores the expressive possibilities of the harpsichord.
She has also performed outside traditional concert halls, including appearances as a guest artist on a luxury cruise ship touring Japan.
In recording activities, she released the solo album Mayumi Chiba: The World of the Harpsichord and has participated in numerous orchestral recordings as a continuo player.
Her media appearances include participation in the complete broadcast of Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons on BS TV Tokyo (conductor: Yukio Fujioka / soloist: Mayuko Kamio). She also performed with Mariko Senju and the Cosmos Ensemble at the Cosmos Prize Award Ceremony.
In addition, she serves as the artistic director of the concert series “Leaf Hall Concert,” which she founded and continues to produce. She has organized many performances featuring leading musicians from Japan and abroad, including Michal Hudák, concertmaster of the Vienna Royal Orchestra.
While grounded in early music, she actively pursues cross-genre collaborations with instruments such as guitar, chromatic harmonica, erhu, and shakuhachi, seeking new forms of musical expression beyond stylistic boundaries.
She studied piano with Hisako Ishii, and harpsichord and basso continuo with Genzoh Takehisa, Mutsuko Miwa, Mariko Kono, and Yoshimi Aoki.
She is a member of the early music ensembles Concert Abeille and Sereno Music, and holds a Master’s degree in Music Education.
